This policy explains what The Kraemer (operated by VNT Properties, Anaheim, California) collects when you visit this website, book a stay, or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have kept it in plain language.
What we collect
- Booking details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, number of guests, travel dates, and any notes or requests. Your phone number is also used to create your door code (its last four digits).
- Payment: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive confirmation that you paid, and the amount.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, text or WhatsApp.
- Reviews: the first name, star rating, stay month and comments you submit. Reviews only appear on the site after we approve them.
- How you use the site: pages viewed, taps and clicks, device and browser type, approximate location, and which page you came from, collected by the tools below.
How we use it
- To take and manage your booking, send confirmations, check-in instructions and receipts, and handle changes, cancellations and refunds.
- To answer your questions and keep your stay safe, including checking for fraud on last-minute bookings.
- To understand how people use our site so we can improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising.

Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers above so they can do their job, and when the law requires it. The advertising tools (Google and Meta) receive information about how you use our site, such as pages viewed and whether a booking was made, which may count as “sharing” for advertising under California law. You can opt out any time (see below). We do not send those tools your name, email address or phone number.
Your choices
- Opt out of tracking and ads: use the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of any page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
- Visitors in Europe, the UK and Switzerland: we ask for your permission before using analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your mind at any time with the same link.
- Access, correct or delete your information: email info@thekraemer.com. We will verify it is you and respond within the time the law allows. Some records (for example payment and tax records) we must keep.
- Marketing emails: we only email you about your booking. We do not send newsletters without your permission.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records as long as needed to run your stay, handle questions or disputes, and meet accounting and legal requirements. Analytics data is kept for the period set by each provider.
Security and children
We use reputable providers and limit who can see booking records, but no system is perfectly secure. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
